Experiencing Christ's Strength Written by: Wes Plaisance I love my son Ethan. He is a great kid. Now that he's two he wants to do everything on his own, even the things he just does not have the skills to do yet. One day I was trying to put on Ethan's socks and shoes so we could go. He said "I do it, Daddy. I do it." We have been through this struggle time and time again. This time I thought I would let him try it on his own. So for about a minute he wrestled with one of his socks. He tried and tried, but could not even begin to put it on. Then he said "Daddy do it, please." Father has given us a free will to do as we want. And He loves us enough to allow us to experience failure, so that we may turn to His strength. We were never designed to live life out of our own resources. Christ designed us to live life from His resources. He is the only true source of life. Are you still struggling in your own strength? Or have you given up on your own strength in order to trust Christ to experience life?
